My passion for the creative expression surfaced after my son's Bar Mitzvah in 2003. For a while, I explored painting using acrylic on canvas, paper and board. But not until recently did I discover that the traditional method of cut and glue stimulates and shapes my creativity. I consider the process intuitive rather then intellectual; each piece is an expressive visual statement. I approach each piece using a palette composed of a variety of materials including canvas, newspapers, old poetry books, watercolor and artistic papers, photography and magazine images. I use a repeated process of arranging, rearranging, and adhering materials from the well-thought palette. Each creation represents unique images from my dream world.

Seeds: From the Depth
After exploring the "Collage Impulse," I decided to pull from the well-thought pallet and go back to my first passion, acrylic paintings. With acrylic, I enjoy the immediacy and spontaneity of a medium that moves from brush to surface — bringing to life the randomness of nature. My "Seeds" series is a visual celebration of Mother Earth, and the beautiful symmetry of her textures and patterns.
I dedicate all my creations to my husband and two children;
Ben, Natalie and Michael, the source of my joy.
